My Little guest ❤️

Tonight, something small and bright found its way into my world.

It was just there — quietly sitting on the windowpane. A tiny creature dressed in vibrant orange with bold black stripes, like it was wearing armor made by nature herself. But it wasn’t moving. Not even a twitch. For a moment, I thought it might be gone.

Curiosity kicked in. I took a photo, then turned to ChatGPT for help (my usual assistant for strange late-night discoveries). That’s how I learned this little guest was called Nepita conferta — a type of moth known as the Footman Moth.

Despite its fierce look, it felt… soft. Still. Fragile.

I didn’t want to leave it alone on cold metal or risk stepping on it, so I gently scooped it up and placed it in one of my small plant pots. Somewhere green, somewhere quiet — in case it just needed rest.

It didn’t fly away. It simply stayed. But I felt like I had done the right thing.

Sometimes, the world sends you small, unexpected guests. You don’t need to know why. Just meet them gently, help if you can — and let them go when they’re ready.
